Zachary Joseph Horwitz (born on December 5, 1986), referred to expertly as Zach Avery, is an American entertainer and sentenced criminal.

He was captured on charges of cheating financial backers of $227 million through a Ponzi plot in April 2021 and condemned to 20 years in jail in February 2022.

Early life

Avery was conceived by Zachary Joseph Horwitz to Susan Krupitsky in Berkeley, California. His folks separated when he was 10 years of age and he moved from Tampa, Florida, to Fort Wayne, Indiana, where he resided with his mom and step-father.

Horwitz got a four-year college education in brain research from Indiana University. He is Jewish.
