Vasile Belous, one of Moldova's top fighters who contended in the 2012 London Olympics, was killed in an auto collision on Monday night. 

Police in his country, Moldova, affirmed the passing of the 33-year-old after he failed to keep a grip on his Mercedes in the town of Calaraseuca, around 150 miles north of the capital, Chisinau. 

The vehicle collided with the stone mass of a religious community and nearby media pictures showed the wrinkled front of the vehicle. Moldova grieves the passing of probably its best competitor, Vasile Belous.

Family 

Belous, who passed on at the scene, is made due by a spouse and two youngsters. 

The welterweight arrived at the second round of the London Matches and dominated bronze at the 2017 European Championships.

His last battle was a loss in Poland four months prior. Belous recorded 72 successes and two knockouts in his 116 novice battles. 

Mentor Petru Caduc told publika.md: 

'He was an exceptionally specialized competitor. There are not many competitors with such a method in Moldova. 

'He was a character, an exceptionally committed man. He agreed with all that I advised him. He confided in me, he never sold out me. He was an extraordinary warrior. 

"We are exceptionally grieved that what happened occurred." 

Igor Untila, mentor of the public boxing crew, added: 'He was an elite competitor, the pride of Moldovan boxing. He took part in the Olympics and, truth be told, what happened is an extraordinary misfortune. 

'Sympathies to the lamenting family and all his friends and family.'
