Tony Finau: professional life and career

Having a passion for golf from his early age, in 2006, he won the Utah State Amateur Championship where he defeated the future PGA Tour player Daniel Summerhays in a 36-hole championship match.

He then turned professional at the age of 17 and he also started to play on the mini-tours which also include the Gateway Tour, National Pro Tour, and NGA Hooters Tour. In 2009, he along with his brother Gipper competed on The Big Break of Golf Channel. He also finished 2nd on the Big Break Disney Golf.

In the year 2013, Tony played on the PGA Tour Canada making 7 cuts in 8 starts. It was in August 2014 when he won his first ever title at the Stonebrae Classic. At present, he is playing for the PGA Tour.

Prior to golf, he also runs an organization known as Tony Finau Foundation. The organization helps to empower youth as well as families in the local community.
