16-year-old Ajax youth player Noah Gesser kicked the bucket in a fender bender on Friday evening, the Dutch football club declared. 

In an explanation delivered on Saturday, Ajax said Gesser and his sibling had been killed in the mishap. 

"This evening, at the presentation matches of Ajax 1 and Young Ajax, there will be uncommon consideration for this unpleasant news," the club said. 

"There will be a moment of quietness before the matches start and the Ajax players will wear armbands in the grieving of Gesser's passing. Moreover, banners will be flown at half-pole at the Toekomst sports complex. 

"Ajax is profoundly moved by this grievous occasion. The club wishes Gesser's friends and family strength in the coming time in managing this endless misfortune." 

Gesser was brought into the world on February 27, 2005, in IJsselstein, Netherlands. 

Gesser, a striker, joined Ajax from Alphense Boys, after stretches at Almere City and VVIJ. He has played for the Dutch monsters since 2018. 

This season, he was planning to play for Ajax's under-17 group. 

Spanish monsters Real Madrid communicated sympathies on Twitter. 

"Genuine Madrid C.F., its leader and its Board of Directors profoundly regret the death of Noah Gesser, Ajax's institute player," it said. 

"Genuine Madrid wishes to communicate its sympathies to his family and friends and family, his partners and his club." 

Previous Bayern Munich and Germany protector Jérôme Boateng likewise offered appreciation to Gesser on Twitter. 

"Tragic to hear," Boateng said. "Find happiness in the hereafter Noah Gesser."
