From 1986 to 1993, Lynne served as the 6th chair of National Endowment For The Humanities. Cheney founded the American Council Of Trustees And Alumni in 1995. Starting from 1995, Lynne worked as a co-host of CNN's Crossfire the Sunday edition for 3 years replacing Tony Snow. Lynne was on the board of directors of the Lockheed Corporation from 1994 to 2001.
