Deegan, who is the youngest person to ever become a member of the NASCAR Next class, has set her sights on becoming the best racing athlete there ever was, even better than her father. She officially began her professional career when she was eight years old and later went on to participate in the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series.
After winning the series, in 2013, and triumphantly lifting the trophy, she emerged as one of the most potent prodigies of this generation. Later in 2015, she won the Modified Kart Regional Championship, a year before which she was titled as the Modified Kart National Champion.
Starting from 2016, she shifted her racing career slightly as she began driving the Legend Cars in asphalt racing. The year that followed, she debuted as the asphalt Late Model, in 2017.
In 2016, she became a member at the NASCAR Drive for Diversity and was honored with the NASCAR Diversity Young Racer award a year after she had joined. She achieved the feat of becoming the only female, and the youngest racer to become a member of the NASCAR Next Class in 2017.
