Devotionals Jr. (born October 21, 1955) is an American business person, representative and creator. The child of Amway fellow benefactor Richard DeVos, he filled in as CEO of the staggered promoting organization from 1993 to 2002. In 2006, DeVos ran for Governor of Michigan, yet lost to the then-officeholder Democrat Jennifer Granholm. In 2012, Forbes magazine recorded his dad as the #351 most extravagant individual on the planet, with a total assets of roughly $5.4 billion. 

Devotionals is the spouse of Betsy DeVos, the eleventh and current United States Secretary of Education. 

Devotionals was conceived in Grand Rapids, Michigan, the child of Helen June (Van Wesep) and Richard Marvin DeVos. Devotionals is an alum of the Forest Hills government funded educational system. 

He was engaged with the privately-run company, Amway, even as a youngster. "I despite everything recollect when it was in the cellar of our home when I was growing up," he later said. "I recall the workplaces being down there and individuals working down there." As young men, he and his sibling Doug were "tapped as smaller than usual hosts", appointed to welcome participants at Amway's yearly shows, and they "assisted including clearing plates during social occasions to shipping visitors to play tennis or waterski. That advanced to talking before gatherings and in any event, giving item exhibits." DeVos later said that "It was somewhat similar to a Junior Achievement air contained within Amway. ... We just stayed nearby the organization. It was your social movement." 

Devotionals got a four year college education in business organization from Northwood University. He later paid to join in, yet didn't finish, the Harvard Business School and the Wharton School's Executive Study Programs. Devotionals has gotten privileged doctorates from Grove City College, Central Michigan University and Northwood University, just as recognized graduated class acknowledgment from Northwood University.
