Parker's career in the field of basketball started after graduating from high school. After getting admitted to HPU, Parker played for Women's Basketball Team for 3 years. But, Parker was taken out of the team accusing her of drug intake, Marijuana. Later she transferred to MTSU in 2014 and started playing again.
Talking about Parker's career in WNBA, Chicago Sky drafted Parker 5th in the WNBA Draft of 2015. Averaging 2.2 points in every game, Cheyenne had played thirty games off the bench in her Rookie Season. Even though the Sky team finished 2nd in the Eastern Conference with a record of 21-13, Indiana Fever eliminated them by 2-1 in the first round itself.
