His father, Britt Hager, is a football legend who played at the University of Texas as an All-America linebacker and has made awe-inspiring records that still stand up until today. Breckyn Hager: Professional Life, Career
Breckyn Hager, after joining Westlake High School, got the opportunity to be trained by the famous football coach Todd Dodge. After hundreds of hours of hard work and rigorous training schedules, Hager made it to the first team of the All-District 14-6A team, where he was responsible for playing at the Defensive position.
This was back in 2014, and after he showed the results of his training, almost all of the critics were impressed by him and he was even ranked as the 49th best player on IBL by ESPN. Similarly, he also reached the no. 14 OLB position in Texas and no. 80 all over the USA. Because of the unbelievable number of successful tackles that he had done, he was also ranked as the no. 78 by 247Sports.
As a freshman in college, Hager was able to play only 9 games because of a few injuries that he had suffered. But during his sophomore year, he was able to play in 12 games, an amazing improvement despite the lingering pain from his injury. He didn’t lose form and kept on performing consistently.
When he reached the Junior year, Hager was placed as an honorable mention on the All-Big 12 team and managed to perform in thirteen games altogether. Currently, Hager is in his senior year and is also involved with the Big 12 Commissioner’s Honor Roll as a member.
