The lady who was shot and killed by a Fort Worth cop inside her home in the 1200 square of East Allen Avenue, early Saturday after a neighbor revealed the front entryway was open has been recognized as Atatiana Koquice Jefferson.

The 28-year-old was shot through her window, as indicated by bodycam film and the restorative inspector's report.

Jefferson's name was discharged by authorities and nearby media.

Officials reacted to what they called an "open structure" call around 2:25 a.m. at the house in the 1200 square of Allen Avenue, east of Interstate 35W. Units landed at the scene at 2:28 and 2:29.

Jefferson was playing computer games with her nephew inside the home when the official strolled through the patio. He said Jefferson got up to "examine" the commotion.

The official began by remaining outside the open front entryway, where the screen was closed, and afterward strolled to the side of the house. The lights in the house were on inside when the official showed up. The video doesn't show the official declaring himself at the entryway or thumping.

The official opened a door to the terrace, strolled into the lawn, and sparkled a light on various pieces of the outside of the house. He saw an individual watching him from inside the house and hollered from the terrace, "Put your hands up. Show me your hands!"

Authorities said the official "saw a danger." Fort Worth police said there was a gun in the habitation, yet they didn't state if the official saw the gun or not.
