A FEMALE supply teacher has shown up in court after being blamed for preparing a student for sex.

Ammy Singleton, 28, from Port Augusta, Australia is blamed for improperly speaking with a youngster between November 1 and 30 last year.

Police captured the lady on December 23 preceding she initially showed up in court on February 14 on sex offense charges.

Port Augusta West Primary School head David Lawton gave a letter to guardians to illuminate them that Ms. Singleton has worked at the school for one day in July 2020.

Mr. Lawton focused on that the supposed sex offense occurred with an understudy from an alternate school.

"Police have prompted the Department for Education they have no issues with the division illuminating the school local area," he composed.

"This occurrence includes no understudies at our school and the data accessible to the school proposes there is no requirement for any worry for any kids at our school.

"Ms. Singleton has bail conditions that keep her from participating in any youngster-related work.

"Assuming you have any worries about the security and government assistance of your youngster, kindly go ahead and get in touch with me straightforwardly at the school."

Ms. Singleton is expected to show up in court in Port Augusta again on July 20.
