Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez: Personal life

A beautiful Alexandria is originally from New York City, USA. She came into this world on 13^th October of the year 1989 which has now made him reach at the age of 29. Ocasio-Cortez was born to her parents Sergio Ocasio and Blanca Ocasio-Cortez.

Her father was an architect of Puerto Rican descent whereas her mother is Puerto Rico. The family moved to Yorktown Heights when Alexandria was 5 years old. Growing up, she regularly visited her extended family in the Bronx.

For her education, Ocasio-Cortez went to study at the Yorktown High School from where she got graduated in the year 2007. While her tenure there, Alexandria won the 2^nd prize in an Intel International Science and Engineering Fair with the microbiology research project on the effect of antioxidants on C. elegans’ lifespan.

After completing the college, Ocasio-Cortez moved to the Bronx. She had worked as a bartender in Manhattan and also as a waitress in the taqueria. Additionally, Alexandria has also worked as a lead educational strategist at the GAGEis, Inc.

She had also served as an educator at a non-profit National Hispanic Institute. Ocasio-Cortez also served at its Educational Director of 2017 Northeast Collegiate World Series when she participated in the panel on Latino leadership.
