A Jonesboro man was being held Friday evening in prison on a manslaughter accusation regarding the Sydney Sutherland case, Jackson County Sheriff David Lucas said. 

During a night question and answer session, Lucas talked about the case. 

Lucas said a body of a female, accepted to be Sutherland, was found around 2 p.m. Friday. The body will be sent to the Arkansas State Crime Lab for recognizable proof. 

Lucas didn't deliver the name of the suspect, pending conventional charges. 

The sheriff said the case is continuous. 

While not revealing the name of the suspect, Lucas said the suspect knew Sutherland. 

Prior in the day, Jackson County law authorization had affirmed they've discovered a body in the territory where they've been scanning for the missing Jackson County lady. 

The guardians of Sydney Sutherland's beau, Alex, posted on Facebook and affirmed that the body discovered Friday was that of Sydney Sutherland's and that capture has been made.
