Samantha Ronson: Career

Samantha has stated that she fell into DJing by the chance. She got a call one night from the club where she used to hang out and they were like “Do you want to DJ?” Ronson then took a gig and quickly started making a name for herself and eventually DJing became her full-time job.

She has spun live for the New Year’s Eve show of MTV from the studios of the network in Times Square, the Super Bowl, Sundance Film Festival, Pan America Games, Cannes Film Festival, amfAR, AMA, and VMA.

In addition to that, Ronson has also played in the private events for the celebrities such as Jimmy Kimmel, Stevie Wonder, Lionel Richie, Nicole Richie, Ellen DeGeneres, Jessica Simpson, Lindsay Lohan, Natalie Portman, and Jay-Z.
