The 47-year-old, Neil Lennon started working in the field of football when he was relatively young. He first began in the field as a player in his school. But, soon he scored on his Irish League debut and later joined Manchester City as a trainee in 1987.

Later, he signed for Leicester City in February 1996 and received his first major winner's medal in a replayed League Cup Final when Leicester won 1-0 against Middlesbrough. Lennon became the winner of medals winning the Scottish Premier League, Scottish Cup, and Scottish League Cup after becoming a part of the team. He even became a captain in the summer of 2005.
