Rising rap star Lexii Alijai's passing has been affirmed by her cousin in a passionate Facebook post.

The 21-year-old who was brought up in St. Paul, Minnesota and was hoping to have a brilliant future in the wake of breaking into the Billboard Hot 100 with her coordinated effort with American vocalist Kehlani Parrish.

Lexii - genuine name Alexis Alijai Lynch - died on January 1, with the deplorable news being affirmed by her cousin Raeisah Clark.

She presented a tribute on Alijai on her page, which read: "You're a genuine legend. In the event that you know or heard her music you'd feel chills. Rest in heaven you'll never be overlooked!

"I'm so lost for words… my wonderful cousin with so much ability and Unique soul Lexii Alijai It's too early."

This was trailed by a passionate message from LaMycha N Jett who posted on Facebook in the wake of hearing the news.

She stated: "They state don't address God, however, damn why you infant. This thing called life is insane as damnation. My heart is broken.
