On September 28 of a year ago, Jurek was captured by the Polk County, Iowa Sheriff's Department and given three charges, including "ownership of a controlled substance,' "unlawful ownership of physician endorsed medication," and "ownership of medication stuff."

At that point, on January 8, 2020, Jurek was captured once more.

In his January capture, Jurek was accused of "infringement of probation," "inability to give evidence of money related obligation," showing that police say he was not able to give confirmation of protection, "ownership of medication gear," and "working while inebriated – second offense."
