Finglass spent her freshman year in Texas Christian University by going to various dance auditions. She considers those auditions as a valuable experience in her life. In spring 1984, she heard a radio commercial about auditions for Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders. She was selected and joined the squad.
After that, she moved to Dallas. After working with the squad for 5 years, Finglass left the cheerleading team in 1989. Soon, Jerry Jones hired her as an assistant director of the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders. She worked in the position for a year then took positions in the sales and promotions department.
Due to her excellent work and dedication, she was promoted as the director of the cheerleading squad. Since then, she has also been serving as the business manager of the team. She has brought many sponsors and business deals to the team.
Not only that, she has also organized different competitions hosted by the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders, along with the DCC Dance & Drill Team Competitions, Cheers for Years, Camp DCC, and Cheers for Fitness. Currently, she is working as an executive producer for Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders: Making the Team, CMT's hit series.
In 2000, Finglass has also acted in the role of herself in the film Dr. T & the Women. In 2004, she again played the role of herself in the tv show "The Insider".
