Jesse is the founder of BOND (Brotherhood Organization of a New Destiny). It is a non-profit religious group focused towards young black men. He is also a part of Choose Black America that stands against illegal immigration to the United States of America.
Jesse is a board member of Project 21, a conservative African American organization and on the board of Accuracy in Media. He is also a former board member of the California Christian Coalition. Peterson also founded an annual "National Day of Repudiation of Jesse Jackson" event, which lasted from 1999 to 2004. It always took place outside Jackson's offices in Los Angeles.
