Howard Schultz is originally from New York City, New York, USA. He took his first breath in this world on 19th July of the year 1953 which has now made him reach at the age of 65. Schultz was born to his parents Fred Schultz and Elaine Lederman. His father is the ex-US Army trooper and then a truck driver.

After completing his graduation from the college, Howard began working as a salesman for the Xerox Corporation. He was then quickly promoted to the full sales representative. After that, Schultz became a general manager in 1979 for the Swedish drip coffee maker manufacturer called Hammarplast.

He was also the CEO of Starbucks from the year 1986 to 2000 and again from 2008 to 2017. In addition to that, Schultz was also the executive chairman from 2017-2018. Besides that, Howard is known for pioneering the partnership of Starbucks with Arizona State University that allows all the employees at Starbucks working for 20 or more hours per week to qualify for free tuition through the online courses of ASU.
