An attractive and pretty Catriona Gray was born in Cairns, Queensland, Australia. Her hometown is in Oas, Albay, Philippines. Gray took her first breath in this word on 6th January of the year 1994 which has now made her reach at the age of 24.
Catriona was born to her parents Ian Gray and Normita Ragas Magnayon. Her father is a Scottish-born Australian whereas her mother is a Filipino from Oas, Albay. Catriona was named after her parental grand-mother Catherina Gray who is an immigrant from Scotland to Western Australian in 1952.

After completing her high school in Australia, Catriona moved to Manila, the Philippines where she started working as a commercial model. She was listed as one of the top models by Cosmo Magazine in the Philippines when she was 18 years old.
On 2nd October 2016, Gray participated and also won the title Miss World Philippines 2016. Not only the main title, but she also won some special awards such as Best in Swimsuit, Best in Evening Gown, Best in Fashion Runway, and Best in Talent.
After that, she represented her nation at Miss World 2016 that was held in MGM National Harbor located in Oxon Hill, Maryland, USA. She was placed at Top 5 in that pageant.
