Cary Stayner: Personal Life
Cary Stayner was born in the year 1961 in Merced, California, the United States on the 13th of July. He is the oldest son of Kay Stayner and Delbert Stayner. The family had to go through an unfortunate incident when his brother, Steven was kidnapped by Kenneth Parnell in 1972, and remained hostage for over seven years before he broke free.
As a child, Cary reportedly loved his brother, however, when his brother finally reunited with the family after being missing for all those years, Cary found himself feeling jealous of the love and attention his brother was getting. He admitted feeling neglected by his parents when they were grieving.
Cary revealed about being molested by his uncle Jesse, who was murdered in 1990. He reportedly attempted to take his own life the following year.

Cary Stayner: Crimes
Cary Stayner has been convicted of first-degree murder of four counts he was sentenced to death and is currently on death row at San Quentin Penitentiary in California, as of January 2019.
He murdered four women: Carole Sund, her teenage daughter Juli Sund, Juli's friend Silvina Pelosso; and naturalist of Yosemite Institute, Joie Ruth Armstrong.
Cary worked as a handyman for the Cedar Lodge motel in El Portal. When Carole Sund, Juli, and Juli's friend Silvina Pelosso stayed at Cedar Lodge in 1999, the 37 years old entered their room, sexually assaulted the girls and proceeded to murder them. The bodies of Carole Sund and Silvina Pelosso were found in the trunk of the charred remains of Carole's Pontiac rental car, burned beyond recognition. The location to Juli's body was sent to police in a hand-drawn map.
Five months later, he admitted to killing Joie Armstrong who was a Yosemite Institute employee.
