Robert Kenneth Kraft was born on the 5th day of June 1941 and he hails from Brookline, Massachusetts, the U.S. His parents are Susan and Charles John Manganiello. His father, Harry Kraft was a Jewish lay leader at Congregation Kehillath Israel in Brookline and his mother's name was Sarah Kraft. He grew up in an Orthodox Jewish family.
Kraft went to Brookline High School, a school in his hometown where he was a senior class president. After graduation in 1959, he joined Columbia University and also worked as the class president. He decided to study further so, he enrolled in Harvard Business School for an MBA in 1965.
Besides his passion for business, he was also interested in sports. He has also remained the running back and safety player of the school's freshman and lightweight football teams. He stands tall at a height of 5 feet and 7 inches which worked for his benefit as a player.
