The attorney was born in the year, 1973 in Buffalo, New York, United States and brought up in Parsons, Kansas. He celebrates his birthday on the 10th of January. His parents have Indian descents so, they moved to the U.S in the year 1971. His father, Varadaraj Pai is a urologist, and mother, Radha Pai is an anesthesiologist.

For his schooling, he graduated from Parsons Senior High School in 1990. After finishing high school, Pai got into Harvard University where he took an A.B. with honors in social studies and graduated in 1994. He further joined University of Chicago Law School to complete his law degree and served for the  University of Chicago Law Review as an editor.

Ajit Pai: Professional Life

Ajit Pai is known to the world as an attorney, member of the Republican party and a business executive. He is currently serving for the position of Chairman of the United States Federal Communications Commission (FCC) under the president, Donald Trump's administration. However, he started by editing the University of Chicago Law Review and even won the Thomas J. Mulroy Prize for his hard work.

Pai was first appointed in 2012 by Barack Obama and he has provided for the government by working in different positions since then. He was sworn in for a five-year term on 14 May 2012. During his serving, he has stood firm in his stance against net neutrality.
